On behalf of the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA), I extend our deepest condolences to Ray Joubert’s family on his untimely passing.

All of us at NAPRA were sad to hear that Ray had passed away after a brief illness. Ray was instrumental in starting NAPRA more than 25 years ago and helped to guide and shape it with his steady vision, camaraderie and genuine caring. His contribution to, and impact on, the pharmacy community are beyond measure.

Ray’s passion for regulatory pharmacy and his dedication to the advancement of pharmacy in Saskatchewan, in Canada and across the world were only matched by his kindness and readiness to guide and support his colleagues. We, and countless others in the pharmacy community, have lost a dear colleague, friend, mentor and shoulder to lean on. We will miss Ray terribly.
